Featuring unpolished magnets and non-potted coils, each BurstBucker captures the tonal variation of those early hand-wound originals, where workers wound the bobbins “until they were full,” typically around 5,000 turns. The BurstBucker 1 is slightly underwound for medium vintage output, delivering a warm, articulate tone that works beautifully in both neck and bridge positions.
